The Marion County Genealogical Society organizes field trips according to the interests of the members. These field trips are usually to genealogical meetings or research facilities within driving distance from Ocala. Previous field trip destinations have included the Orlando Public Library, Tampa Public Library and the Ellen Payne Odom Genealogy Library in Moultrie, Georgia.
